Stuart T.G. Foley is a lifelong Star Trek fan, model builder, and Private Investigator (its not as exciting as you might think). Known in the online world as Captain Foley, Stuart has been demonstrating creative model builds, including kit bashes, and even non-Trek models, on his YouTube channel since mid-2013.
Captain Foley lives in London, Ontario, Canada with his wife and four children. In 2014, for his 40th birthday, a parcel of land was purchased for him in Scotland which gives him the enviable title of “Lord,” making him Lord Captain Stuart T.G. Foley (LOL).
His varied interests include Star Trek, Star Wars, Transformers, Sherlock Holmes, Phantom of the Opera, and a vast knowledge of Ancient Egyptology and World War II. Stuart is also a talented amateur artist. Additionally, he is an avid sword collector, and swordsman, schooled in fencing, kendo and the art of medieval broadsword.

Having spent years playing Starfleet Battles with his older brother Steven, Stuart’s knowledge of Star Trek ships’ weaponry, engineering, capabilities and histories is abundant. One of his passions is starship design, so teaming up with CGI artist Samuel Cockings to make a show based on Ships of the Line seems like a gift from The Great Bird of the Galaxy.

Stuart always has interesting things to discuss and show to his subscribers on his YouTube channel, or on his Twitter account.
